Helping other Moms of Blasians

A while ago I received this email asking me to share their story within the blasian community. As you know I’ve been very bad about posting into on this blog about happening within the community. But this story has inspired me…if we don’t bring awareness for our issues to help ourselves who will do it for us?

I'm reaching out to the blasian community to seek registrants to the bone marrow database and/or umbilical cord bank. You can check it out at http://marrow.org/
Adults between the ages of 18-60 can request the cheek swab kit online and/or sign up at blood banks that have the capability to enroll bone marrow registrants. All data is anonymous, so although you may not match Diana, you might be a match for someone in a similarly dire situation.
