Hines Ward Joins Dancing with the Stars Cast

What stars will be putting on their dancing shoes?  The new Dancing with the Stars Season 12 cast has been revealed! Guess who's included in the new cast lineup....Hines Ward!  That's right. Our favorite blasian Super Bowl Steeler gonna be shaking his groove thang on the dance floor.  Ya'll better join me and tune in to support our guy.

So while I was checking out the DWS site and reading the little profile they put together for him I noticed something. Check out what they had to say about the "Helping Hands" foundation, which Hines formed to help blasian children in Korea.

Beyond football, Hines is a symbol of success and goodwill to the Korean community and all of Asia. He started his "Helping Hands" foundation in which he devotes his time in the U.S. and Korea to the fight against bi-racial discrimination.

The program in the U.S. focuses on improving literacy among children and provides programs and services to better equip them for achieving success in life. The program in Korea focuses on raising awareness for the problem of biracial discrimination and providing inspiration to the mixed race children in that country. Hines is considered an ambassador of hope to children everywhere.

Notice what I noticed?  They sorta left out that these children that are experiencing bi-racial discrimination are black and asian child specifically.  Gosh people can't the blasian community get any shine?!  That omission sorta waters down the main purpose of the "Helping Hands" foundation.  Hopefully Hines will get to speak about "Helping Hands" foundation and clarify that point.

And yes a bunch of other famous celebs will also be in the cast including hip hop star Romeo and gossip queen Wendy Williams. Wanna learn more about them then visit the site :)
